ICP Lists 14 Administrative Violations

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has identified 14 types of administrative violations related to Emirates ID and residency services. Fines for these violations range from Dhs20 per day up to Dhs20,000, depending on the type of violation.

Emirates ID Violations

  • Delayed registration for the ID
  • Delayed renewal after 30 days from the expiration date
  • Fine: Dhs20 per day, max. Dhs1,000

Residency and Foreign Affairs Violations:

  • Submitting unauthorized transactions
  • Incorrect data entry
  • Expired representative card
  • Not carrying the card when submitting transactions
  • Violating work systems in service centers

3 violations with a Dhs5,000 fine each

  • Misuse of the system
  • Obstructing ICP employees
  • Failure to pay fees for services

Other violations:

  • Inaccurate typing of applications: Dhs100
  • Providing incorrect data: Dhs3,000
  • Issuing visas or entry permits to inactive establishments: Dhs20,000

Exemption from Fines:

Citizens, GCC nationals, and UAE residents can apply for exemption from fines under certain conditions, such as extended absence, deportation, illness, or disability.
